London Fashion Week has been opening its doors to young designers since its inception in 1984. It has introduced many brands to the world as an incubator, such as John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and more. These footprints are presented through interviews with 83 designers from 72 brands and catwalk photographs.
The book is constructed with consists of archive articles by Mina Wakatski, who has covered Fashion Week for over 30 years, and photographs by Chris Moore, one of the world's leading catwalk photographers. It also includes several articles on the transition of London Fashion Week and projects to support newcomers.

Fashion journalist. Born in Tokyo, she moved to the UK in 1988 and began writing articles for Japanese newspapers and magazines. She has been contributing as a commissioned reporter for Senken Shimbun since 1990, covering the fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, London and Tokyo.
Meanwhile, she has been writing and having interviews with designers about London Fashion Week for over 20 years for "High Fashion", "So-en", "WWD Japan", and many more publications.
Since 2001, Mina has reported various events in the UK as a correspondent in London. Also, she has been writing a column about London fashion for the Yomiuri Shimbun since 1996.
Chris Moore
One of the world's leading Catwalk photographers. Born in 1934 and based in London. He started his career as a studio assistant for "British Vogue" magazine and began taking photography fashion shows in 1967.
He has worked on catwalk photography for many newspapers and magazines, including "The International Herald Tribune" and "Senken Shimbun". He runs the photography agency Catwalking.com with a photo editor, Maxine Miller, his public and private partner. The agency also handles the official documentation of London Fashion Week.
